No Linux version at present. Reason is directly related to your question: yes, you pre-fly connected to the internet (it's a Google Earth Tour of your flight plan generated by Symbolic Flight). As you do that, the imagery and data are cached to the hard drive. You can then disconnect and go flying and you'll see just what you saw on the ground. Alas, the Google Earth support for platforms other than Windows has no caching capability. Won't be a problem when you can always stay connected in the air. But were a year or two away from that at a reasonable price.

I have a few questions.
I have an EEE on Linux, will your software run on this?
So I prefly the route and it loads into my computer and then when I get in the airplane and connect my GPS if flys the route in realtime with the aviation overlays your program inserts? Rite?
I thought about this a few years ago but am nowhere near computer savy enough to do it,,, so cudos to you.
